Sort order. Jul 11, Debbie DiFiore rated it liked it Shelves: need-safety-info. Too short This was just so short. A dime finds a girl in the library be compromises her and she lies to save her sisters reputation by saying they are engaged and he agrees but then takes off after the wedding for three months.

No idea what he did for this three months either. No explanation which annoyed me.

There are no sex scenes at all. Just three or four kisses. That is it. The marriage has still not been consummated either. He is kind of mean but then bam he loved her. Strange and disappoin Too short This was just so short. Strange and disappointing.

I loved the heroine in her innocence but the story was half done. I liked Kitty too, her friend. This could have probably been a great book but for now it's a half done novella. I still have it three just because I liked the heroine and her love of books. View 2 comments. Jul 17, Monica Mccaskey rated it did not like it. She can do better. A truly delightful novella that involves a wallflower, a duke and an unwanted marriage. I loved how different Regina was from the usual debutante and how all she wanted to do was read her books Regina believes in love and always fantasizes that her life would turn out like the A truly delightful novella that involves a wallflower, a duke and an unwanted marriage.

Regina believes in love and always fantasizes that her life would turn out like the books she reads Jane Austen but there's a problem with that Andrew doesn't believe in love and in fact, leaves her for months after their rushed wedding. When he comes back, it's up to her to change his mind!! As she says I was given an ARC of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Jul 18, Elaine rated it really liked it Shelves: fave-authors , victorian , kindlefire. Not very keen on Andrew, the Duke. One day he says he's not in love with Regina, and the next day he loves her. For me, the ending was a bit abrupt, and no sexy bits either. However, I do love Jillian Eaton's writing.
